Huh, total bummer.

I wonder why this offset was chosen. Especially with the whole Vaughn Gittin product lineage.

9.5"

For those running 9.5 wheels on the back, how far do they stick out pass the fender? Up close pic would help.

Thanks

I have seen countless wheels 10.5 with 45 offset with 305s that sit flush with the fender. Velgen recommended 295/35 but I found several with 305s. No issues. I just dont understand how these wheels 20x10.5 with a 305/35 will stick out an inch in the rear. This was coming from AM online chat.
Another member here posted his 19x10.5 with 305s and it looks perfectly fine, no poke.
Nevermind. I re-read the post you are referring to... you're both calling a quarter panel a fender. Fenders are up front, quarter panels are in the rear.

For the sake of being accurate and relaying information correctly, please use the appropriate terminology.

Carry on.

I'm trying to get RTR to provide feedback on this issue of tire / fender fitment on 305/315 tires.

No one is trying to throw a 305 up front so who gives a shit what we call it. I did say in the rear. Everyone else figured it out.

See what they say compared to AM. Look at MattS550(,or S550Matt) setup a few pages back his are 19x10.5 with 305s. Looks clean.

Here is the response I got from RTR

Mark,

Thanks for reaching out and considering us for your Mustang.

Assuming you are talking about S550 Mustang. 305’s will be absolutely no problem on our 10.5 ( In fact it should be a pretty flat sidewall at that point) We have seen customers do this with no problem. 315's may “bulge” a bit but should be fine as well but we have never tested it, 1.5” of poke does not seem possible based on our offset.

Thank you

We have to get some pictures from Cobrakev. He said his 285s poke about a half inch past the rear quarter. I believe he has the 10.5s rear.

I will try to get pics tomorrow. They do poke out about 1/2" out side the rear quarter panel. Yes I have the 10.5" on the back. Now with the 9.5 only 12mm offset difference, I bet they sit outside the quarter panel too, just not as much. You might be able to get the 9.5 under the panel with a camber adjustment, but no way the 10.5 will

On the RTR 10.5" wheel it is a +45, and 9.5" is +33. That is why I think they will both stick out a bit/

Ive done a lot of 10 to 11" with 305 to 315 tires and they work fine.

On the RTR 10.5" wheel it is a +45, and 9.5" is +33. That is why I think they will both stick out a bit/
Brotha question for you is your car lowered, if so have you adjusted your camber specs to ~ -2 degrees, if not then you'll want to do that.

Now if it is sticking out only on one side and its lowered then check your subframe because it may be shifted ( I recommend a steeda IRS kit for this).

Now in regards to the fitment the 10.5 ET 45 is standard and the 9.5 ET 33 is standard. Reason I say this is I have done as low as 9.5 ET 20 and 10.5 ET 38 with 315 tires on the back and 275 tires on the front and just needed camber adjustments to make them flush.

Let me know if I can help out whatever way possible.

I was just thinking camber might be the issue. I think the PP models have more camber by default.
