I will be attending July 17 with my wife, we will both be driving. Just a heads up to anyone who has Progressive for vehicle insurance. My wife called to see if they would cover us for the Track Insurance at the track attack. I told her she was crazy but they agreed and we have a fax with it in writing!:headbang:

So to anyone else, it could be worth a try.

Shawn Umphries took me out. I thought my 4 point was tight enough. It wasn't. That man is an animal behind the wheel.

Sept 4-5th

I'm scheduled for September 4-5. I have tracked a STI for the past three seasons. This is my first year tracking the GT350. Took mine to the local track last weekend and had a blast. Definitely glad to be back in mustangs

My son is 6'6" and did ok in the race mustang but said it was close, had to hunch just a little.

Husband (flatplane_snake) and I will be attending in just a few short weeks (July 23-25) and we are so stoked about going! He will be doing a 2nd day in the Boss, and I get to do a ride along the first day - I can't wait! But I honestly haven't booked our flight or hotel yet  - There seems to be a concert going on that Tuesday night as well, causing the hotel rate to sky rocket  - but looking at booking near the airport or right inside SLC; any suggestions on decent hotels that aren't break your bank, or should we stay near a different city?? :D Also, I can't remember what time they said we'd be done the optional second day

I stayed at the Hyatt right by the airport, there is a discount code that you can get thru the official GT350 track attack website (http://www.gt350trackattack.com/) if memory serves me correct. The hotel is clean, has free breakfast, free parking and staff is nice. The GT350 instructors were staying there as well when I stayed last week. I booked flight thru Southwest airlines and it was relatively inexpensive....might be worth a look.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in the city. It was nice, but if I remember correctly the prices are steep in SLC. Just remember the track is about 30 min away from downtown so plan accordingly.

The Ford program had a special $99 rate at the Comfort Inn near the track when I went last year. Not sure if they still have that or not?

On the website, http://www.gt350trackattack.com/, scroll to the very bottom for the Hyatt link and info and the discount code.

I tried that discount code last Friday, but it told me it wasn't available - I may be too late for that  But unless the discount code took it to closer to $100+ a night, I most likely won't be staying there... trying to keep cost down due to our flight out of NWA is stupid expensive as always (Walmart town:doh:) Thank you guys though for that!

Will check into it, thank you! Were there any restaurants around it, or did you have to drive into SLC? We've never been to Utah, so this is all new to us :)
