Official GT350 Track Attack Attendance Thread

Sad news from Ford Performance. Bill Rhinehart passed away last week. I had the honor of meeting him and his son Tom at the track attack in Utah a couple of months ago. Super nice guy. I could have listened to his stories for hours.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP

I was out there May 10 and found out Bill passed away a few days ago so sad to learn about this. I only interacted with Bill and Tom and the rest of the instructors for just a few days but it was like I new Bill for years.

My prayers go out to his family and friends.

God speed to you Bill and have a cold one with Larry Miller and Carroll Shelby for me.

Talk to the people at the school. There is a hotel a few miles away that they recommend. I'm a little hazy on the details as I did the Track Attack in April, but the Ford Performance people at the school have all the answers. BTW, the Track Attack was a great experience, and I have since tracked my car and had a blast!

The Comfort Inn & Suites about 10-15 minutes away had a deal for us when I went back in May. I think the code was LGT350 or something like that and it was $99 a night. They had a Porsche race car in their lobby and there were a few FiST's in the parking lot staying there for the Octane Academy too.

I did it the same weekend as @Hughespj47 but decided to stay in downtown salt lake city. Since I needed a rental car anyways, it wasn't a big deal to make the 30 minute drive to the track. My hotel was about the same price, but I got to walk around Salt Lake City, which was really nice in April.

I am also going Aug 29-30. The comfort inn and suites is where I am staying. They give a discount for people going to the Track Attack. Much cheaper than the Hilton. I think it was 99 a night.

The holiday inn express was nice. It is next to a microbrewery and adjacent to a large shopping mall. Rooms were nice and clean. Closer drive than the Comfort.

It's in Utah for the entire GT350 track attack program... the webpage is just showing footage from the track tour last year when they did a 2-day stop in Sebring. It's totally different from the actual track attack school.
