I wanted gold wheels but everyone sells bronze and I’m just not really a fan. Ended up with satin black haha

Gold is going to be the new Satin Black in 2021, just wait. Everybody rollin' on gold wheels. Bronze is for wimps.
Well I guess there you have it

It's hard to say, but if there's enough demand for it in the initial Group Buy launch we can definitely produce it!
I’ve been eyeing the bronze 19x10 ec7’s for a while, and if there’s a possibility of a gold version I would definitely hop on that instead. Please make this happen!

So what are Apex's thoughts on your rims being powder coated? Could live with the colors that are offered, but wouldn't mind having something a little lighter than anthracite, but much darker than race silver. Been thinking about buying a set and taking them to my trusted local powder coater. Looks like changing the finish may void the limited lifetime warranty?

Thanks,

Doug

If running an 18x11 combo on a 2020, what kind of spacer is needed on the front? The rear should be fine, even with that wide of a wheel, huh?

At least a 20mm. That depends on the tire you use though. I have 19x11 ec-7’s with 20mm spacers and 285’s. Clears the strut by a few mm and poke is minimal with -1.7* camber.

Run anything wider and you’ll need at least a 25mm spacer to clear the strut

Do you have camber bolts in your struts? That would bring the strut closer to the wheel. Judging by your pics, I'll need the 25mm spacer. Being an 18 (instead of your 19) will bring it closer to the strut and I've got Magnaride shocks/struts, which are a little bigger. I'll be running 285's as well, so that's no different.

It looks sick on the car, though.

I do not have camber bolts. The camber I have is just the natural amount from lowering the car an inch. When I do eventually hit the track, I’ll pick up some cc plates, then get some bigger spacers so I can run bigger tires

Some 3v action from Summit Point Motorsports Park a few weeks ago. I'll always have a soft spot for these cars. This ultra clean example is rocking our 18x11" square setup wrapped in 315/30-18 BFG Rival S tires with a 25mm spacer and extended studs up front.

You will want extended studs and a 25mm spacer in most scenarios up front, rear will be a direct fit. Camber wise, At least -2.75* is recommended for the front, -1.5* for the rear.

Any type of refinishing will unfortunately void the warranties, especially powder coating. I think you might be pretty pleased with the Anthracite finish once you see it in person, it's lighter than many photographs capture it as.

Wish I could’ve been there. Would’ve liked to have seen that car (and wheels) in person
