As you say though, designed for plastic. Whereas, the paint I have already on hand from doing the pinstripe on the wheels, and also won't wear out like the testor's would.

That looks awesome, Mine looks almost identical except I asked them to leave the numbers off so mine just has the pony!! Since my car is DIB I have been wondering if there is any good permanent way to make the pony blue, if anyone has any suggestions let me know!

Just because you had a bunch of old paint lying around doesn't mean others do too. Testors paint does not wear off. Was that useful

Testors paint will wear off and will fade in the sun. It really isn't the best solution to use.

I don't know what you did wrong but I painted the snakes with it on our car & after 3 years, they didn't fade. As you can tell from the pictures, rain did not affect the Testors paint either.
