Poly options? Please explain a bit more, I'm pretty new to this. I'm intrigued.

Polyurethane and Delrin are typically used in the same setups (bushings) since they have similar properties. The only real difference in characteristics is that delrin is harder, and poly can be colored.

The BMR bushings in the above photo would be a good color option. Maybe something a bit dark.

Gotcha. I assume you mean switching out for a poly knob entirely? If that's the case I think I'm going to stick with the Boomba for now, but thanks for the suggestion!

No, I'm talking about BOOMBA using a poly coating instead of delrin. Nothing would change, and they would be able to offer a range of colors.

Oh man, this knob is so nice! It's pretty cool how a heavier knob can improve the shifting feel so much.

Ordered a custom copolymer knob from Latheworks. Overall I'm extremely pleased. The craftsmanship and quality are great.

I REALLY wanted a blue knob to go with my DIB (even though the blues are no where close) and the fact that I could get it in copolymer to eliminate it getting hot in this Texas heat was very important. On top of that, you guys had said the others from CJ and AM were light, cheap/broke, and got super hot or cold. I wish the knob was bigger, as you can see it's only slightly bigger than stock. Sooo we'll see how this drives for a while and if I end up wanting to change, it will definitely be for the Boomba. I just want it in bluuuuue.

Might also get better pics later when the suns not directly on the knob, washing the blue out... The indoor pics you can see it better anyways.

What's the weight on that guy?
From their site "105 grams weight for a quick, precise feel."

In my hand, it felt about the same weight as stock. I know weighted was a big deal to a lot of you guys and I wanted that too, but opted to try this out first. Boomba has the only good weighted one I've seen.

Stock is ~140g so its a little bit lighter. 105g is similar to the CJ knobs I think

I have the stainless steel version (510g) in the works. I'll take a pic wherever it arrives.
