Yes sir! It weighs just over a pound according to the site lol. I think I'll be good with leverage after that. I just sent an email asking for an update. He sent me an email on the 5th saying he'd need a week, which would be tomorrow. Then I just have to wait on shipping. :frusty:

I installed the Boomba Racing knob today. If you just try to screw it on it will not align itself correctly when screwed all the way down. You have to follow their directions and heat the knob with a blow dryer/heat gun for a few minutes. Then you crank it down until you get it into the perfect position. I assume heating the knob softens the brass inside allowing you to tap your own threads deeper into the knob. Perfect fit, looks great, feels great. Solid!

The Boomba kinda looks like one of those Pac Man thingies. You know the one that chases you around.

haha yea it does look a little funny toward the bottom. At least its heavier than stock and looks pretty good otherwise.

Wow lol, I didnt even read the instructions. I just used locktite with a single lockwasher at the bottom of the threads for extra tightness. The locktite is holding up fine so far but if it ever comes loose ill have to try the heat gun method. Thanks for mentioning that haha

Im not sure how long you drove around with the stock knob but how do you like the feel? I definitely noticed less "resistance" going into gear with it due to the extra weight, just wanted to see what other people thought. I like the overall size, shape, and material as well and its got a fairly clean look.. almost looks like it could be a stock knob and ive had several people who hadnt seen the car yet think it was the stock knob ;)

Well it finally arrived! I got my Lathe werks knob in the mail today, unfortunately right after I got to work. :frusty: I got my room mate to send pictures to my phone and it is absolutely perfect! I can't, for my life, get the pictures to come through. I try to send them to my work email, and it fails, I try to upload them through my phone and the webpage crashes. I guess I'm just hyping it up now lol. As soon as I can get it to work I will post pictures, hopefully of it installed. :D
