I just replaced my ASHIKO knob for this one. With the Delrin sleve. It feels much better in my hands but it is a bit lighter, 450g vs 700g (ashiko) However still much much heavier than the stock knob. I love how the engraved stainless goes with the trim of the car.

That looks great!
Think you can post a few closer pics?

Also, do they do any custom work on the engraving?

He quoted my post in his post that shows the link on its info.

Indeed... I did follow your link, but didn't see anything about engraving. I thought kkakonn might know since he apparently dealt with Raceseng before and had an ASHIKO knob prior to this one... In any case, I emailed the company and got a lightning fast response, so I'm clear on engraving.

However, Raceseng customer support did say this knob won't work with the 2015 Mustang unless you have an after market short shifter... They said it interferes with the reverse lockout.

I would still would love to see some close up pics in a 2015-16 Mustang to see how well it matches the interior and I also wonder how kkakonn made it fit... Short shifter or modified?

Do all the 2014 Mustang Raceseng shift knobs work on a 2016?

The 2011-2014 Raceseng shift knobs will only work on our car if you have the MGW short shifter since it deletes the reverse lockout. I spoke to the owner at Raceseng and they are currently in development for S550 specific shift knobs and still retail the factory reverse lockout. I believe he said they are about 1-2 months out

LOL.

Go check out their IG (if you have it), they shared another photo of mine on there last night. :)

In the meantime, this is what it was like with the stock MGW locking collar installed.

Since it comes with the thread adapter kit and matching lockout ring (which fits perfectly inside the counterbore) I took the MGW off and slammed it all the way down to the boot, which is what is pictured above.

It's SOOOO heavy. (735g) There's a little more effort to begin the motion, but less effort needed in the follow through, and it seems to pop into the gate better - plus, it actually deadens the MT82 chatter the stock plastic knobs seem to amplify.

It's a quality piece.

And they shipped it within 8 hours of my order placement. Top notch all around.

So the 11-14 raceseng knob fits the 15s without modification?

And I should have some pics shortly of the knob that we did for the S550 Diode Dynamics car.

Here is a link to my intro thread with more information about my knobs.
