When I was selling cars, I had a customer who had almost had a coronary because her Expedition she ordered arrived with about 10 miles on it. She expected it to be at 0.0.

Almost blew the deal too.

I put 26 miles on one that I test drove. I was surprised the dealer said no problem.
I was bummed because I didn't like they're offer on my trade in.
Sold it to a guy from Vegas.
Great car BTW.

When I got my 08, there was 6.6 miles on the clock. Pretty good, especially since its a 5 spd. I have(at least I'd like to think I have) a good relationship with my dealer, which I have purchased and referred several people to, asked the manager to try and keep the miles as low as possible like they did with my 08. Time will tell.

My 2012 had 7 on the odo when I drive it off the lot. I'm hoping for about the same number on my '15.

50 Miles is like two gallons!

Hope they're filling-it-up. When you order, aren't you paying for gas anyways?

Hearing all of this kinda sucks. First new car I've ever ordered. I legitimately expect it to arrive with no more than 2 or 3 miles on it. Given driving around the factory lot, coming on and off of trucks, crossing dealer lots, being moved, etc....I don't see how that should amount to more than a few miles if it's being dropped off sold with your name on it.

Picked up mine the day it was delivered and it had 35 miles. Dealer said it must have been one of their test units around the track cause cars come off the truck with like 8 miles on them.

I had 16 miles on my 11GT and my wife had 19 on her explorer sport. I was told it is usually from the dealer doing the PDI checks. I specifically told my sales person to lock mine when it comes in and not let anyone but himself drive it. Call me picky but I want to be the first to fart in those seats lol

I don't really care if someone takes my car out on an EASY test drive.... but if I find out someone is romping on my car when I get there to pick it up I'll say a few words, rate the dealership at two stars.. Tell them to F off and go place an order elsewhere.

The last thing I want is a bunch of sales people playing in it or the general public looking at it. I've spent a good deal of time in showrooms to know how the public looks at cars. It would be different if it was a run of the mill car everyone sees everyday, but I think these new stangs are really going to be head turners
