I’ve never seen a window sticker with this copy in EPA area, and blank in the price detail. Does anyone know what it means? Pre-pro car? Factory show car? Help, please.

Yours sounds like the same situation in the thread. I notice there's also no MSRP listed. So this seems to be in a transition period of some sort.

It's on a car for sale at a dealer. I've never seen one before.
Yeah, pretty weird. How could they have a sticker that doesn't even list the MSRP?

I'd definitely ask them for the final, official window sticker before even considering a purchase. But I'm sure you already know that.

Probably another trick to do ADM. Make sure you call them out on various "protection" packages that go from 700-1000.

If it's on a used car sitting at a dealership I would guess they've just reprinted the original window sticker without the government required info that must be on a new car window sticker. But I am only guessing.

More details needed on the car - and that copy of the window sticker seems to be very blurred? Can you supply the VIN?

Usually that type of window sticker existed because the vehicle was NOT initially available for sale to the public. It could have been a Pre-Production Mustang used for internal testing and due to that testing it might have different PCM parameters, or it could have been used for press (article write ups, drive experiences, track time), or it could have been used by Ford for "tours" around the US for car shows or displays of the new model when it was initially released for public viewing.

The vehicle will only get a revised window sticker IF it was then approved and released by Ford to be put back into the public pool for purchase. The revised window sticker should have all of the EPA info as well as MSRP populated.

Does it mean that car is "special"? Only in the sense IF it can be confirmed or researched to determine how that car was used by Ford (and for what purposes). Other than that, it's basically another S550 in the larger pool of general S550's with no other unique identifier. The VIN isn't any different than any other standard S550 VIN and it isn't a "Limited Edition" sequentially or consecutively numbered by Ford with any type of Certificate of Authenticity.

I've seen the same with 2012-2013 Boss 302's where some had the same exact Window Sticker and were internal use/press/display vehicles eventually released back into the wild.

Thank you!
Here is the VIN: 1FA6P8CF8F5301511 p.s. Is there any free way to get original window sticker reprints? Everything I see has a fee.
