Odd tail light issue

I had noticed a long while back that the outside bar on my left tail light was brighter than the others with the parking lights on. I didn't think much about it though.

Then the other day I was following behind with a buddy driving the car and saw that the turn signal is not right either. The inner and the outer bars light up, then the middle one, a slight pause with all three on, then start over.

I did some searching both here and Google but I didn't find anything really. From what I did find, I tend to think there is probably an issue with the light itself.

Any opinions on this?

If the info in that thread isn’t helpful regarding resetting the BCM or replacing it, then a new taillight is the only other option.

Tails can be found on eBay or the classifieds on here for decent prices. Do not pay Ford retail prices that are upwards of $700+ for a single taillight assembly.

So for future reference sake...I swapped the tail light with a buddy's car.

It is the light itself...not anything bcm related

Not sure what the issue is but at least it's a plug and play repair

Hopefully it's under warranty. Your not gonna like the price of those tails one bit.

No I reckon not. But I have a set of take offs coming and that is just fine with me
