When someone does that to me I turn on my windshield washers. He'll get quite a car wash

When I manage to get around them—usually on the right—I flash this sign at them.

Response varies from increased speed to changing lanes, to hand signs of some sort. Sometimes all three.
My license plate frame is similar...

I have a vanity plate so I get this a lot from people taking pictures. When I'm tired of it I lose them. Most don't even bother trying to keep up but when they do, they puss out at about 120 mph. Only a Hellcat or Corvette can stay with my Whippled car. A ZL1 found out the hard way, I'm not driving a stock GT.

He probably had an inferiority complex since he was really driving a Holden Monaro.

Easy on the older GTO's. They're not all POS. Cammed, slammed, and still dearly missed.

I like them and when they came out they were the hot car for years.. just giving some of the drivers a hard time.

Buddy of mine had a “cam only” goat with some spray and it was a complete beast.

I had a weird experience driving home one night. Wish I had dash cams. But was later at night like maybe 1 or 130am. Driving on the highway. Was in the middle lane after passing someone a while back (i stay in the middle lane because i eventually have to get to left lane to get my exit) Either way, there is no one else really on the road around me. Someone passes me on the left and gets over in front of me and starts to slow down, like letting of the gas. No idea why, then someone else passes me and basically cuts me off to get in between us and then slows down much harder. I got down to about 30ish or so before they both sped away. No reason for either of them to do it, other than they were just trying to eff with people. And this was in my Mazda, so not like I was doing anything.

People are just aholes.

I get this a lot in my Fiesta ST and also in my past Miata ND. I got rid of the ND as I felt I was picked on a lot with it being such a small car. The problem in the ST is that on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift I have people tailgating me and almost ramming me in the back when I am shifting. They are just hammering their automatics to the floor it seems. I am not poking when I leave the light but not red lining it either. People seem so impatient these days when driving- tail gating, weaving between lanes, cutting me off, etc. I hope these A- holes get it some day when they rear end someone- as long as it is not me.

They're getting close to read your plate and type it in the system. Once you come up clean they move on.
I thought this was illegal to do unless they had you pulled over? Unless it is different in each state?

They might have been trying to create an accident for insurance fraud or a crash and rob. You got lucky. Years ago, I was driving to work very early in the morning and a car passed in the left turn lane, cut into my lane and stopped quickly for no reason. Fortunately I was awake and stopped before I hit them. I quickly backed up to give me some room and floored it to get around them leaving a lane between them and me.

+1 to tard comment. I get this CONSTANTLY in my Si. Never the Gt though. Used to really get to me. Now I slow down and stick my arm out the window to signal a wave pass. If your that much of an idiot dont go near me and get away.
I don't get it so much from other cars here, as I do trucks and it's almost always a full on $100k Bro-Dozer driven by some middle aged adolescent in an Affliction shirt. I don't get it.....I just move over and let them pass.

I guess I'm lucky because I haven't had anyone tailgate me or blatantly slow down in front of me completely out of nowhere. I have had people do these things in response to perceived indiscretions on my part (like not hitting the brakes to let them into my lane when I'm about to go by them traveling 5-10 mph faster, even though I saw their signal, or running up pretty close to them when they pull out, anyway). The most common tailgaters I see are people driving 20 mph or more over the speed limit and tailgating every car they encounter in the left lane until it moves out of their way. Some of the cars are left lane bandits who deserve to be sent a message, but often these drivers won't even allow the people using the left lane only for passing a couple seconds to finish their pass and move over. I've also seen some near wrecks as these drivers try to veer around the guy on the right just as he completes his pass and starts to move out of the passing lane.

Must be a by state thing. Many departments are getting tag readers mounted on their patrol units or as stationary units to scan plates. That’s mostly for heavier populated areas I’m guessing.

I miss Pontiac being a thing. And Olds. And all the other dead marques.
Same here. Saw a G8 GT for sale today. The car is an 09 and still not obsolete in styling or performance.

Those guys drive me crazy. I want to put a sign in the back window saying "Sure, you can go as fast as me, but you sure as **** can't stop as fast as me if we need to!"
