I know, 500.00 shipped for a set is crazy. That's what got me bringing this thread to the top. May as well do the resonators. The catted version is 600.00 shipped.

My only issue is that they don't accommodate the stock connection.

Yep they are a 3" performance connect. You would have to get a couple of 3"x2.5" adapters to fit them.

I saw that BBK and Borla both make a header to mid-pipe connection (3"-2 1/4") for $200. So that is an option as well. But a slip connection would be a better choice I better bet since I've been seeing them for about $3-$15 each, lol!! I might, just might, order a set tonight, lol!!

No issues to report. I wish they came not mirror polished I don't like the chrome look but they turn blue and gold from heat anyway.

Great, just ordered a set and some o2 extenders. Yeah, the old OBX off my 2001 f body looked better after many heat cycles. I'll have to pick up the Lund flex fuel tune this winter after installation.

I'd pick up LU47 injectors if you are planning on E-85.

Ok, so I currently have the Ford Racing X pipe, into the Roush Axle back exhaust. Will the OBX set up bolt directly to the X pipe, without any additional adapters??

Unless the ford racing X pipe is 3" unfortunately no it won't. It wouldn't be that difficult to make it work though.

I just ordered mine (resonated maximizer) for $408 shipped. They are the 3" mid pipe as well, figured I'd have to use these https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-41687/overview/
to get it to match up to FRPP x pipe. Thoughts?

FRPP is 2.75", but it looks like proximal end (closer to header) is necked down to slip inside, so might need a 3" ID to 2.5" ID to accommodate, or cut the 6" off of it and use one of those 6"long 3" ID to 2.75" ID neckdowns?

Was actually "maximizer", didnt want to polished ones since they are hidden on the bottom, more crap to polish that's hard to get to.
