OBDLink MX WiFi - Does yours disconnect all the time?

I have an OBDLink MX WiFi that I plan to use with TrackAddict. The m'fing thing disconnects or loses connection after like 1-2 minutes all the time. I'm going to return it. Sometimes it even makes me type the password in again. :frusty:

Is there some other iPhone compatible unit y'all have used and recommend? I see TrackAddict suggests some other options but I don't know which one to get.

I spent the money on the GoPoint BT1 so I could use the Bluetooth obd2 along with the wifi to my cameras since you can only have one active wifi connection. Works flawlessly.

TrackAddict will start and stop the GoPro via wifi making it super simple to merge all the data together in a single video. Otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time trying to match up start points between your second iPhone and the one running TrackAddict.

Well... that would require me buying a new GoPro that isn't the very first HD model they came out with 100 years ago, which is what I have now. Don't have the cash. Maybe I'll just get one of those movie signs where you snap the bar in front of the camera? Haha.

lol - they are pricey little bastards. There are a few quality knock-offs for just around $100 but I don't know if other devices see them the same on wifi....
