It looks like the FRPP tune limits ignition timing to 5* BTDC at redline, which is pretty standard for 91 octane. 22 psi peak boost appears to hold for most of the rev range, only tapering near redline down to 19-20psi. Are you still running the factory bpv?
Yes, still running the factory BPV. Thanks for taking a look and offering comments. Were you thinking something about the BPV?

Interesting observation on max timing. The factory tune on 93 peaks at 8 based on the log on the previous page.

I've seen others mention that they see up to 24 psi on the FRPP tune (I know this dependent upon weather conditions) but it made me wonder if you're getting all the mustard it's trying to deliver.

The factory bpv is a known leak point that can lift off its seat when pressures increase and bleed boost above 21psi. I'm not sure if your experiencing that or not, but you maybe leaving some power on the table.

GFB makes a diverter valve that replaces the internals of your stock bpv which alleviates this as a leak point. It's a pretty inexpensive mod and one that I personally consider essential.

Adam sells them on his site as well as other vendors I'm sure.

I'm sure the FRPP's tune uses less total advance up top versus stock to mitigate knock with the increased pressure (boost) in that rpm range.

I bought my DV+ on Amazon and absolutely love it. Pulls hard on shift, and holds boost much better than I did without it. Super easy mod, and inexpensive. You'd probably see a little bit better boost consistency with it.

I was hoping that's where you were going with it. I actually bought the DV+ from Adam a little while ago, I just haven't gotten around to installing it yet.

Take a datalog right before and right after install and let us see if it was bleeding off pressure...

When I get around to it, I'll definitely have to do it right before and after to get a good comparison. As of now, I can't figure out how I want to log boost on the SCT X4. I've tried multiple PIDs and units of measure and can't seem to find one that gets it close to gauge pressure without a lot of match on the back end.

Have you tried loading the same logging profile as Marvinmadman from Unleashed tuning?

It's a different strategy
What PID are you using to get the PSI listed in your column E (Boost in PSI|1|224|12|0) in your logs? That looks like what I'm looking for. In the LiveLink software under ECM> is it under Miscellaneous, called "Boost in PSI"?

Hang on a few minutes lol.
Haha never mind. Looks like you're having fun! I just tried that and it worked. After 11 config files, I finally have it all setup the way I want. That was the PID.
