I have been running Nitto's NTO5's non R, on my 2016 Mustang GT for about 2 years with approximately 20 thousand miles. Which is not too bad for those tires. however, when I went to change my tires back to the factory tires and wheels after a nail in the back. This is what i discovered. Please folks check your tires before any high speed runs. I have several runs on these tire of 160 to 170 and this was only a week prior to the change. I will NOT take this for granted again. I'm not sure what was rubbing, but it's rubbing on something with the 20" rims. My car is not lowered at all. I'm running 255/35/20 ZR fronts and 305/35/20 in the rear. Looking from the outside you would never see that the tire was coming apart
