Last week, my dealer had given me segmentation date of May 24th 2016. Today, Ford FB said its been moved forward to end of April 2016 and gave me VIN. I am so stoked :love: :headbonk: :clap2:

H everyone another sydney GT owner.it was ordered on 22/10/14 and delivered 30/1/16 through Brad Garlic ryde.It is magnetic auto GT . so far I have done 4500kms and it is awesome. my previous car was an audi A5 and I much prefer the mustang. The only problem I have , and I did not realise it was one until flicking through this forum , is the drivers side pony image is breaking up . I just assumed the lens was dirty.Otherwise everything is excellent and it drives brilliantly .

Ok guys, just a short post before I head to the pub.

Picked it up from the detailer today - he did an amazing job with the OptiCoat, OptiGuard, tint and 3M stone guard. Highly recommend David at Reflect Effect - a gentleman and the ultimate professional.

I spent an hour fitting my Lakins at the detailer and, much to my relief, the complimentary dealership holes (for which I was rightfully scorned for allowing to occur in the first place) are no longer visible.

Promptly started raining as I commenced the drive to my folks place and only got heavier as I headed home and squeezed into my apartment's garage - it was never in doubt!

Very relieved that everything worked out OK. The detailer did point out an issue with the decklid panel which I will get the dealer to sort out - pictures coming.

A few quick pics - apologies for the quality.

The first one shows the issue that the detailer pointed out. It shows the decklid trim above the rear camera which is not properly aligned with the boot. That white line you can see is where it is separating.

Was much easier posting pics from Tapatalk - but them's the breaks.

Thanks mate - that pic is a little deceiving. The "border" you can see on the bonnet stripes is actually moisture trapped under the 3M film. It should disappear in a couple of days.

I hear ya Bob! Took a few practice attempts and getting in and out of the car a couple of times to make sure everything was lining up ok. Having said that, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting although I'm sure that one day my number will come up.
