A few quick pics - apologies for the quality.
It's great to see the car in the garage... Do you always park centred? I'll have about the same clearance on the driver's side but the passenger side will be much closer to the wall in my case

That's not centred - I have 920mm to play with (including mirrors) and need 640mm to open the driver's door to the first holding point (which gives me plenty of room to get out). The total width of my garage is 3000mm.

Apart from the rubber on the wall, I also have a pair of Accuparks stuck to the floor to give me around 300mm clearance from the rear wall.

When I first laid eyes on the car, I thought that there would be absolutely no way that it would fit in my garage in such a way that would allow me to get in and out easily - was happy to be proven wrong.

My car is getting the Ceramic Pro treatment today at Driven Colour. Should pick it up tomorrow.

Langdon has said that the gloss coming out of the paint is "intense". Overall he says the paint is very good and much better than the paint of all of the S197's he has detailed.

Picked mine up this morning, just got home.

I do have a minor paint issue, but i'm not going to get the dealer to look at it, I'm getting it opticoated next week so I think i'll leave it in their capable hands.

Really loving the car, most surprising for me was is how much I love the color. It is definitely an understated color, but that suits me anyhow. I love the yellow too (I finally saw one in the flesh this morning at the dealer), but at my age I don't think I could pull it off :)

Pictures to come.

Congratulations Peter.

Just be aware that the detailer will be limited in what they can do with some paint issues - minor scuffing or scratching in the clearcoat wouldn't be a problem, however if it's crap stuck in the paintwork it could well be beyond their level of expertise. Might be worth calling ahead.

Time to update your signature.

Took mine for a big drive yesterday, went down to kangaroo valley and out through berry then to the Royal national park. All up about 400km, had absolute blast in the thing.

Drove down to jervis bay today (no not in a stang unfortunately, still waiting)

Saw probably 6 seperate early model mustangs all 196x year models.... And all looked pretty awesome.
1 red, 2 white, 2 baby blue, one was a dark purple. It didnt look like they were part of a cruise or anything, all were pretty seperated. And a pretty cool white stingray.....

0 x 2016 mustangs ?!?

Whats going on?? Haha

Drew, the only thing I can see wrong with that car is the number-plates. Bulldogs suck :)

I agree the Number Plates are not good Drew. However I am a Sea Eagles Supporter (don't hold that against me) and my wife is a Bulldogs fan. So fun and games in our house sometimes.

I was seriously considering changing the style of my plates to something more standard in order to avoid any chance of a Shire keying (I've lived here ten years now, so finally qualify as a local).

On the bright side, I can leave my car parked and unattended in downtown Belmore with the windows down and key fob in the console without any fear of theft or vandalism.

My excitement for mustang is building up :D

I went ahead and ordered my personalised plates. I have been putting it off for many months and when I logged in today to myplates - I was pleasantly surprised. They now have plates with mustang tri bar logo :eyebulge: :p
