I've got my car back for right now. When are we meeting while it's still warm?
I'd be down anytime this week, I'm also in Maryland. Judging by your signature your car looks to be sick man! I'm heading down to Tail of The Dragon Friday to put my white pony through it's paces for the weekend :headbang:

How'd the trip go? And thanks! It's pretty fast, I guess...;)

The roads around Skyline are almost as good, too. I'm sure it was a blast. I need to go back...

Yeah, 211 right outside of Luray is awesome! I'm sure there are many more good areas.

The Tail was awesome, though I've got a few questions concerns about the car after having driven it so hard. I've got some videos that need editing but I'll be sure to post once I'm done.

The car started making a howling/metallic noise after a hard run about halfway through the road. Now mind you I was HARD on it in 2nd and 3rd gear, twisty as all hell roads requiring every ounce of stability to keep the car planted. The noise sounded most similarly to the noise old brakes make, but the pitch would get higher the more I romped on it. I verified it wasn't a brake thing, I had zero issues with the PP brakes even after all those runs. I'm thinking either diff or carrier bearing because it was load relative as well as heat relative. It only did it when I was going hard and it only made the noise under load. I'm quite perplexed actually and I don't think I can reproduce those conditions anywhere near me.

Interesting. Maybe try posting in the issues section to see if anyone else has those symptoms.

I have a short story for you guys.

I was on my way back from PA this past Sunday visiting family. I had just gotten on to 270 from 70 when I see a new '15 Roush Mustang fly up behind me. There was traffic but it was moving quickly I was in the fast lane doing just under 75 (no way to pass anyone).

I could tell this guy wanted to really move but before I had a chance to switch lanes we came up to an on ramp which added another lane briefly to the highway. I hear him shift down, cut across the two lanes, and just take off on the extra lane (and I believe the shoulder after that).

While I do not condone reckless driving especially in that situation, it gave me chills to hear that quadtip catback from Roush. I don't know if it was the Stage 3, but it was awesome to see and hear it take off and disappear down the road.

**Again I do not condone or support reckless driving!**

The Roush does sound really nice! :headbang:

I was next to a '13/14 coming through the toll plaza this morning where it transitions from the Greenway to the Dulles Toll Rd this morning. He had an exhaust too, I have the ARH catback on mine now. The road was clear ahead and we both hit it at the same time...it was music

NOVA folks:

Anyone go to Cars and Coffee @ Rt. 50 and Loudoun County Pkwy, in front of Dunkin' Donuts, from 6-9 am on Sundays? One of the best crowds of cars I've seen and it's free. I've seen Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Vipers, a healthy amount of ponies, some rat rods, classics, Jeeps, and tuners. I go every once and a while since it's a mile from home.

I have a Guard '15 PP. Soon to be Comp. Orange '16 PP.
