Hey Rainier446 - this is Jesse (Steeda 5.0) Appreciate the comment, and will definitely take your feedback into consideration and always welcome another s550 owner. Your Oxford white is beautiful and sorry that we weren't able to get over there to meet you in person. I know I personally go an look at every car, especially the GT500's you were parked by and the bullitt. But, as for my group, that was the 1st time we could all get together as a group with a full head count. So it was a big deal to us. However, next time, please come to us as well, as we would like to meet you and your car. It works both ways, and if you noticed brands stay with brands. ST's, Jeeps, Foreign, Mopar, JDM, etc etc. But, again I totally get what your saying about mingling, and do appreciate your feedback. If you would like to come to one of our meet's outside of CNC, I am personally inviting you. Just let me know, Jesse Perez

It was good to see them, and I will take you up on that one of these days. Glad to know that some people don't take things to heart and know it was simply my observations. I do love that comp orange, though I couldn't own it myself (too flashy). Hopefully I'll have my headers on by the next time...

Thanks. How do you like your Solo Exhaust? I ordered a Mach Thunder. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

I would love to hear yours in person. I was originally thinking about the XV, but decided to go louder. I can always swap out to the bigger muffler, if I want to go quieter :headbang:

I'm no stranger to loud exhausts but this is loud! It is by no means a quiet exhaust. I wanted something civil when cruising around town and that doesn't set off alarms at work lol. It absolutely howls at WOT

I've got the mach thunder and love it. To me it's the best sounding one without having drone. The flowmaster outlaw and the magnaflow race sound fantastic because they're super deep and give you that iconic "muscle car" sound but they've got horrendous drone. The solo gives you the perfect middle ground with a deep note but no drone and it's loud as hell in the upper rpm band. It's wonderful.

So i heard back from the dealership regarding the paint crack on the hood. Ford once again denied the claim (kind of alarming). However Koon's at falls church is claiming that they'll take care of it, so we'll see how it goes.

Update on the hood crack: brought it in to koons falls church this morning and they showed me Ford's response claiming it's a stress crack and that they wouldn't cover it. They are stepping up and taking care of it at no charge as what they call a "CLP" ( No idea what it stands for). It's going to have to be repainted so I'm scheduled for Tuesday.

Disappointed in the service Ford offers and frankly kind of scared since we bought a 16 Explorer and Mustang GT. Hope this isn't the norm.

That's great that Koons took care of it (I've got nothing but great things to say about their dealership in Sterling, which is where I bought my GT), but very disappointing about Ford trying to avoid responsibility.

[soapbox]

Perhaps Ford ought to look at how a company like Amazon treats their customers and how that translates into repeat sales, higher revenue growth, and (for the bean counters) a much higher PE multiple for the stock. Look at their stock price over the last 10 years...it screams "status quo," not "growth." Unhappy customers go to whoever can make them happy.

Best,

Great tires, a little stiff on the sidewall but they're a great bang for the buck when compared to PSS's. My buddy Jay is getting his magnetic 5.0 delivered mid-march and he'll be rocking some piano black CF5's, would love to see those two together. Maybe we can do a photo-op when the weather gets better :)

For sure, that would be a sick photoshoot!

the tires are the best bang for buck out there! $225 a piece!
