Hi guys,

Im looking to get some lowering springs for my MY17 in the new year.

There seem to be quite a few options available. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with the different variants?

e.g.

Whiteline
Tein S tech
Eibach Pro
Eibach Sportline
Or any others?

I'm running 25mm spacers currently, which has the tyres sticking out just past the arches! Does this limit the drop height i should go for?

Steeda is a great choice and we have Robbie to help support from our Steeda UK division.

Shoot me your email and I can connect you with him.

Best Regards,

TJ

Eibach kit from Ford is the best bet, plus they are pretty cheap in the ÂŁ140 region. Got them on mine with 20mm spacers and it sits loveley.

whichever you go with make sure they're linear not progressive, having said that the eibach "ford" set are probably the cheapest.

We’ve recently been fitting the Pedders lowering springs which have much the same drop as the Eibach Pro Kit and are the same price as the Ford ones at £145 a set. (Ford spec Eibach kit is around 3 to 5mm higher than the Eibach Pro Kit). I personally think these are the best value out there at the moment. They work fine with 25mm spacers all round and the ride is really nice.

Okay thanks for the replies all. Today I found a set of the Ford Eibach's on eBay second hand, but never fitted for ÂŁ120 delivered so i've snapped these up.

Great choice! I’m on eibach pro also. 20mm rear spacers, 23mm front - installed at gt101. Really happy with them - stance is perfect for me. Plenty of pics on my instagram (link in my sig) if you want to see exactly how they sit

Ah, i'm glad you're running the same setup - I spotted your car in the 'What did you do to your Mustang today' thread a couple of days ago and thought it looked great.

I'm going to put shorter springs in my convertible gt 2017, would have to be linear, because I think the shock absorbers are linear, and I would like to approve them to pass the technical control in Spain.

I have the option of the Eibach Pro Kit,but I'm not sure if they're linear, and also the Steeda, but these are not if they are homologated.

Any help?

Can you tell me what are the new alignment levels with the Eibach pro kit springs?

You should still be able to set the alignment inside the standard geometry specifications with the ProKit springs.
