Ty, i have not tried the v2 as such i dont want to throw shade on something i havent even used. My experience is with the older version. I switched to MT 2-3 years ago. before that from 17 onward was the nitto 555 DR. how much better are the V2 over a MT et st?
I run both.. Both are the same compound. Both perform equally on the street. For the drag strip, my 305/45/17 SS's are much wider, so I use those for drag only.

PD blowers can give you that low-end grunt fun for a stick car on the street. However, if it were me, I would do an ESS G3X. It keeps making more power the more it revs, and won't add too much weight to the front end if handling is your main concern. I believe the entire G3X kit weighs around 30 pounds, but I may be mistaken.

I would avoid any Procharger kit that routes the belt on an additional pulley. The added strain on the crank is a recipe for disaster.

I love people that regurgitate internet info as undeniable factual data. Lol

I've read that gt350 engines shit the bed left and right, in stock form. Def stay away from those. Save tens of thousands by buying a GT, they can take a bunch of boosted power. And if you want a better handling car than a gt350 get the mach1. The mach is cheaper, better handling and has the coyote. All the way better.

G3x weights around 42lbs and makes good power.

But nothing wrong with procharger the crank thing isn’t an issue. I’ve seen just stock , turbo etc cars snap crank as one with a centrifugal

No drag radials for me. Bought the m1 for the handling and while an occasional stop light boogie is likely, it won’t be what I want the car set up for. Basically spirited driving on rural highways and less traveled twistys.
I bought mine for the same reasons.

For street apps I think you'll enjoy any of the reputable FI kits available. There won't be a ton of opportunities to safely push top or bottom end capabilities on public roads. Boost creates an absolute monster. We share the road with distracted morons.

I love the linear predictable punch that the PD blower offers on windy backroads, but she gets hot at low speed stop/go.

I typically only lose 2-3 mpg per tank with the SC installed. Any decent PD blower should have a valve that allows air to bypass the rotors when boost isn't needed.

Find a good tuner. Keep an eye out for sales. Good luck!
