Noisy high pressure pump?

On the 2018+ cars. Is the high pressure pump an little noisy on cold starts occasionally? Two of the last three cold starts, mine was making more noise than normal but stopped after about 20sec.

Direct injection engines with the high pressure pump make some noise. I had a 3.5 ecoboost that sounded like a diesel. Even my 3.0 Lincoln has some of the normal DI noise. My Coyote is no worse than my 3.0 Lincoln and much quieter than the 3.5 ecoboost.

I'm familiar with the different noises. This isn't injector noise. I haven't heard this particular noise on other DI engines, including the ecoboosts. Granted they are a bit noisy.

Did you ever get this looked at ?.
mine does exactly the same noise and it’s the HPFP solenoid. Will stop instantly when it’s unplugged.

but I have the same noise and I’m having some intermittent driveability issues and this could be cause.
