On my way home today my 2019 bullitt all of a sudden started vibrating through the pedal and making a grinding noise from the transmission whenever I get going out of first or reverse. It shifts gears fine when driving nothing strange there. Now when I let out the clutch and creep forward the the pedal is vibrating and I hear noises and then when I give it gas to get it going the noise will turn into a clunk until the car gets going and then it will be normal.

Any idea what this is? The cars only got 12k miles and I’m not that hard on the clutch.

Found this video on YouTube, this is exactly what it sounds like.

I also noticed a clutch pedal vibration when I started the car and the engine was turning over

I just checked my window sticker and the power train is still under warranty. I’m going to take it in to the dealer and see what they say. Hopefully my aftermarket steeda tune doesn’t screw my over and lead to them voiding my warranty…

So I discovered something new about the issue today that may help narrow down the cause.

I was driving the car now and I was in second gear in too low of a rpm and the engine began lugging and it was making the noise and the pedal was vibrating non stop. This shows me that it is not related to releasing the clutch in first/reverse, but instead it’s related to when the engine is lugging, which just so happens to happen when I’m letting it out of first.

Does this mean it’s most likely clutch/flywheel related? What would cause a clutch pedal vibration and noise when the engine is lugging?

You'll have to pull the tranny too figure out what's wrong. FYI if your at 12k miles I'm pretty sure you clutch is no longer covered under warranty. It's considered a wear item.

Needs a clutch and slave cylinder. Stop resting your left foot on the clutch pedal when you are driving around

Hm that sucks. Well I made an appointment later this week I’ll see what they say.
