No cars with recaro seats?

My 2020 GT350 came with the leather trimmed seats and so far no complaints . And with a little racers trickery, they also worked well on the track, and are certainly more comfortable for a DD.

I have been checking autotrader every day and I dont see a single car thats 2019-2020 with recaro seats. Did Ford not offer this as an option for those model years?

I don't know about 2020, but I looked on the 2019 Production Summary PDF and there were 462 with Recaro's and 2,327 with sports seats in 19'.

The dairy queen seats were significantly more common when I was looking for my 2020 HEP.

Is there a different way of finding used cars? I bought my RS from autotrader but maybe mustangs are listed elsewhere? I also see less than 100 cars all the time.

For 2019 only 462 of the 2798 GT350's (not including Rs) had Recaro seats, so thats not all that common. Even in my local group of GT350 owners I'm one of the few with the Recaros.

I check everyday, excluding Rs, total 2 cars nationwide with Recaro seats vs 93 without for 2019-2020 for sale right now. Very sad:(

I have a 2019 with the Recaros. I have an early car Chassis #240 and my ordering sales person was surprised it went through. Turns out it was due to them having a shortage back in Jan/Feb 2019 on the sofa seats, so since I wanted recaros it went through. Also in 2019/2020 they widened the recaros just a little for more room. It depends on your needs but to me a Gt350 just doesn’t look right without recaros.

What he means is most Americans are too fat to fit in the Recaros comfortably. Most say something like I don't fit my shoulders are too huge from lifting, my lats don't fit in the seat etc.

So they opt for the AC/Heated instead.

I’m not fat I’m big boned. But at 6’5” and 225, I found that the bottom side bolsters of the recaros dug into my thighs. They were a no go for me

193 lbs at 5'8" is overweight. Unless 5' and 8" is two different measurements.

I said its the average American. Which Ford designs it's seating around. And lets not get into the whole BMI thing...

Its not wrong at all. I've heard this since Ford started putting the Recaros in Mustangs.

If you think Recaros are tough to fit in, try the bucket seats Porsche has. I am 5’11’’ 170 lbs and they fit me like a custom made glove. Very little room to move around. Getting in and out of them is a chore but they are the best oem seat in the business.
