  1. Ruined Passenger Side Side Skirt - I'm Dumb

Wow, thanks everyone. Put question out at night in mountain time and have the early birds on the east coast answer it a couple hours later. Now to figure out how to tackle myself (not much of a DIY honestly). If the OEM parts are ~$850 then do I just do an extra $300 for Carbon Fiber (chrome...
  2. Ruined Passenger Side Side Skirt - I'm Dumb

Ok, I'm an idiot. Was driving son to get some ice cream after a good game and as I turned into a parking lot I've been in dozens of times I got my GT350 hung up on the curb. Took the turn slow but too tight and toward the right side of the entrance. Center hung under the passenger side door...
  3. Thanks for great tech info.

Amen. Don't drive mine into the mountains to ski, but with winter tires it can be daily driven in the cold. Granted, you can't explore the cornering limits and have to wait longer for the engine to warm up, but four seasons are possible. I get it though if one doesn't want to compromise...
  4. No cars with recaro seats?

An my beer drinking, cheese eating, ice cream liking butt appreciates that.
  5. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Ohhhhhhh ... heading on another one soon. That sounds much easier than the 40 minutes it took me to scrub those bastards off.
  6. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Yup, carried two quarts of oil and some octane booster just in case. Thankfully never needed to use them.
  7. GT350 Owner: Have you driven the Mach 1? Please provide your comparison to GT350

Amen on the test drives. I cross shopped the GT350 with Mercedes GLA AMG, Audi S4 & RS3, and Cadillac ATS-V. Test driving those vehicles was infinitely easier than getting a Shelby out of most Ford dealerships. These Ford dealerships sell crazy expensive F-150's all the time yet don't know...
  8. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Round trip completed. ~ 25 hours, 1750 miles and 22mpg. Car was a blast. On the way home did a four hour stretch on two lane highways. 526hp Voodoo + wide open roads + little traffic == easiest passing of my life. Did end up having a brief discussion with a Colorado State Trooper, but...
  9. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Boulder CO to Davenport IA. Pretty drama free and making return trip tomorrow. Was a great cruising car. Wife's bladder timed with the 250 mile range pretty well.
  10. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

I have a sneaking suspicion my trip will be similar (minus the gas scarcity part). The tall 6th gear in this car doesn't deliver the same mileage as the 6th gear in my '12 GT. A minor complaint in the grand scheme of things as I enjoy having the GT350 far more than I did that GT. Still...
  11. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Wow. The supercharger kills highway mileage that much huh? Crazy they didn't make that 7th gear in the auto a super granny gear that can make highway cruising as efficient as a 700+hp car can expect to be. I understand none of us bought these things for the mileage but stopping every two...
  12. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Lol. Haven't really had it out for long highway jaunts yet. Best I've seen for a tank is 22 as well. Expecting about 22 and hoping for 25. Get around 18 as a daily driver.
  13. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

That's awesome. Been there with a gas scare. Taking the scenic route in my GT to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone via middle of nowhere Wyoming. Windows up, air off, costing down hills, gentle acceleration. Got over 400 miles on that tank of gas. Not going anywhere that scenic this first trip...
  14. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Radar detector ... thats a good idea. Car and Driver just had a comparison. Never had one, but my previous cars stuck out a bit less than this Orange Fury model. My car has the comfort package with the heated/cooled leather and alcantara seats. While I haven't put them to the road trip...
  15. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Yup, this is the spare tire I bought and installed. The front spacer is the thing wrapped up and shoved into the lower gap in the spare wheel in my trunk.
  16. Road Trip Season - Am I Nuts?

Now that the wife and I are fully 5G enabled, time to put the GT (grand touring) in GT350. Years past I've taken many road trips in my '12 GT back and forth from my home in Colorado to where I'm from in WI. Got lucky and traded that car in for my current '19 GT350 at the bottom of the market...
  17. The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

I've always been of the mind that if the dealer wants to charge ADM then they are free to do so. Maybe they really want the car to sit in the showroom. Maybe the owner just wants it as a toy with no real intention to sell it. Maybe they are counting on a money is no object buyer to come in...
  18. Mach 1 to GT to GT350

A person of culture I see. Stripes are overrated. 🤪
  19. Mach 1 to GT to GT350

Had been meaning to post these for a while. Finally found them. After eight years of ownership I traded in the Mach 1 with 115,000 hard Wisconsin miles for the red GT. While the GT was a fine car, never had as much personality as the Mach 1. Only managed to put 66,000 miles on the GT...
  20. GT350 Hits 172 MPH on the Autobahn

There are a number of fellow CO Front Range GT350 owners on here. I've just been keeping my head low until COVID passes before seeking out any groups. Am planning on hitting up High Plains Raceway this summer if things calm down this summer.
