The other day I was driving on the highway when all of a sudden the car felt very sluggish. I looked at my boost gauge and noticed that the car was not creating any boost. I stopped at my destination for about 2 hours, turned the car back on and the car was back to normal. I have an appointment with Ford on Friday, but has anyone experienced this before and if so what was the issue?

There was a TSB for the 2015’s regarding the wastegate armature getting stuck. I’m sure someone can supply more info on that TSB, but if you take it to your Dealer they will also have that info and it should be repaired under warranty (as long as your still within the 3/36).

Don't take it to a dealer and had them take the whole engine (cost me $160). I had this problem, and I believe the car turns the turbo "off" meaning minimal boost <5psi to cool down the engine or the turbo. It seems to only occur during summer only in my EcoBoost, got Ford tune & intercooler, no more of that problem.
probably heat soak problem, so don't sweat it too much its just the car protecting it self from the heat.

limp mode could mean a number of things to keep your engine from catastrophic damage. Best to check it with a mechanic - codes can be thrown without a CEL. But it does sound like heat/humidity issues. Condensation can build up quick and cause bad cooling on the intercooler.

I had my intercooler pipe detach and created a noticeable power drop. No Engine light came up.. I had to take it to the dealer.

they fixed it up and all seemed good for a couple of days, but I feel like my turbo pressure has regressed back, and the car has lost its pep between 3000-5000 rpm.

Oddly my boost pressure gauge is set to BAR (can't get it to read PSI), and I can't get the gauge past 1 BAR (goes up to 3).

Had I known how flakey these engines were at the time.. I would have gone v6
