I can get a little lose launching and the 1-2 shift in my V6, now imagine another 120hp on top of that (unless your RS2 means supercharged then even more). I'd say go with the NT05R if you want to go with Nittos in the rear.

Good point. Its a Roush charged 727 with 9.5x20 inch rims and right now it has Toyo`s proxies + and no traction.

Got my tires changed the other day. Went with Nitto nt555r. Was raining on the way back so no real testing yet but what I did find out was my old tires were shot. I mean the camber in my rears were off. I did some digging and found out that with 1 Degree negative camber from new can get way out of spec but my tire looked new from the side to the middle and I did not see it till the tires were off the car. I`m not lowered in any way but I do have a PP1 car. So reading on I come to find that a 0 camber is best for strait line performance but will lack a little in the corners. I`m going with 0 camber and will make my tires last longer as well. I`m going to use a level right now and get a full alignment after the new half shafts go in. You guys might want to fully check your tires for uneven ware if it looks like the tires are in at the top. I`m no expert here just so were clear.

I have the 555 g2 on my procharged car. I have no issues with them for a daily tire. Good in rain. Obviously with 700hp no street tire will hook unless it is a drag radial. I have no complaints.

Took the car out today and I can finally hold 3rd gear on most pavements. The NT555R`s seem great for the street.

I had the 555 G2's for 3 summers and couldn't wait to replace them this season. Horrible in the rain and not that grippy at all in my opinion. Also belt broke in front tire and caused noise when slowing down to stop. (took me a brake job and much frustration to figure that out)
Now I have Conti ECS and couldn't be happier.

I have 305's in the rear and 275's in the front and I love my Nitto 555 G2's... absolutely no complaints.

Although the Nitto 555 G2s are a great street dire for daily use. For drag applications I would recommend running the Nitto 555R it's sticker tire and also has tread so when you get stuck in the rain you won't lose traction! I would run the Nitto 555 G2s in the front only. Shoot me a message if you have any more questions! @LethalPerformance https://www.lethalperformance.com/shop-now/vehicle-selector/tires/nitto
