Yes they only slippery in rain from my experiences, the first half hour or so of driving. After that car Seems to grip good given the wet surface. I mean they arent going to hug the corners the same in wet conditions obviously but definitely do better than many tires ive tried. I think some people have to high of expectations. Also need to take into consideration all the contaminants on the ground.

Also have the Nitto 555 G2's. Was intending to get the MPSS but my tire guy gave me a great deal on the Nitto's and really wanted me to try them. I am more impressed than I thought I would be. Have not tried them in the wet and don't plan to.

I love em, will definitely buy another set. I think I have 10k on mine and thats with 3 autoX events and a trackday at Little Tally GP. For comparison, the Pzero rears I only got 8k mi out of. Much more friendly in cold temps compared to the Pzero's. Anyway, my 2 cents
