Some people like to say they went X fast for only X amount of money. Somehow money always comes up after the race, mostly bought up by the losing side.

A window switch on a nitrous setup will be the best investment you make. Lots of backfires are caused because nitrous is being applied to low in the RPM range. On the flip side, lots of issues with the bottom end of the engine happen when the you bounce off the factory rev limiter that removes fuel vice spark (most vehicles). The window switch protects you from both situations and provides a nice stable platform to work with. Window switch, FPSS, WOTS and you're sitting with a pretty safe setup. I only use plate kits but havent run nitrous with the '15 yet.

Can you please explain a window switch to us dummies.
I have only used nitrous on my mountain sled and my Dodge pickup.
Both had a button i had to push with my finger to trigger the system.

It simply allows you to set the RPM range ("window") for when the solenoid(s) will turn on and off.

Yes. Some allow dual stages of spray, some are progressive (allows the shot to be ramped up) some have gear lockouts (prevent spray in 1st to prevent spinning

Thanks guys.
My pickup could have used that.
The all or nothing was rather aggressive.
Ramping up would have been nice.
So if I were to do this i could get say for example a 75 shot at 3k rpm. Then at 4k rpm another 75 shot. Last say at 5k rpm a third 75 shot. And I have to just sit there and drive its all done for me automatically?
That would be sweet.
I am such a newbie to this.

Dunno about 3 shorts but 2 shots yes. Or you can do 150, starting at 75shot in 1st gear then full 150 in 2nd and on.

That is very cool.
Is 200 shot realistic on the 5.0?
Possibly, at that point we're taking about approaching 700whp and 700wtq. So oil pp gears, timing upgrades and axles a must.

I would love a 2 stage setup that could give me 100 and then 200.
Be fun when in the mood to play.
