Have you tested the phasers to 7200? Just curious to see if they still operate at the higher rpms or if their mechanical effectiveness is limited to lower rpm's.
They seem to hold the selected cam angle pretty decent to 7200. They do a little weird at holding the desired cam angle by deviating a degree or two from desired, but they do hold. I'm curious how they would do at 8200.

I absolutely agree. But the number of people that would take place in such conversations as this are little to none. Most mustang owners only care about exhaust lol.

This is how it starts though, im a verry busy person and I tune for a shop in Charleston sc, but my day job is a welding and metallurgy engineer that also is a plant manager for a rather large fabrication shop. I have been tuning fords for over 8 years on the side for fun I am more freelance ford enthusiast than anything.

Guys, Randy is a great tuner ( I know of him from my Lightning days and those forums) and will be a great resource here! And my Mustang tuner if I decide to tune this thing!

I'm a hobby tuner too, using HP Tuner software to figure stuff out with the 2015 Ford ECM. Happy to share everything I've learned, and test shit people want to know. This weekend I'm seeing what happens with the Torque Control module turned off.

i think im one of the few on here that have diablo cmr tuning. but thats what the local ford tuner uses so i went with him. he said holley owns them now and their spending some money on r&d on tuners. his shop is called executive performance in merriam ks.

Well sir, you and I have a good bit in common and should have a lot to talk about, hell, everyone who chimes in, we all have a lot to talk about.

So, from what I'm seeing, the VCT on the 2015 seems be to giving people the most trouble. Not sure if they aren't understanding the mid lock phasers and taking them into account, or if they just don't know how to tune a VVT engine.
