Ngauge Index levels

Hi all,

I was on fb looking for unlocked ngauges to buy and came across three separate listings, with each listing ranging from “index number 1-3”. I noticed that the high index number each one is, the more expensive. Can someone please explain what the index number represents?

I'll take a stab at this.

I think it is the number of unlocks it has left. If it says 3 it will unlock 3 cars before it needs a reset. Resets are impossible since they went out of business.

An unlock, as I understand it, is a different VIN.

If I am wrong I hope someone will correct the information.

Why would you buy and want to use something when the manufacturer is out of business?

I knew someone that was using one. He was fk'd when it went tits-up. Had to pay the dealership to reflash his car back to stock.
