I just ran across this video that shows how the nGauge can be used to make adjustments for different gear ratios. The video references the F150 truck, but I was wondering if anyone has used it to change gear ratios on the 2018+ Mustang GT and if it can support a 4.88? Thanks

It sure would make the decision to do a gear change much easier for me.

Interesting video. I did not know that that was an option. I went to staggered 19’s in front 20’s in back last year. The difference when I use the calculator online was insignificant enough for me to not care. I may give this a shot to see what happens. I’m not sure if I want to mess with the speedo configuration.

If you do give it a shot, will you please check and see if the 4.88 is listed?

Absolutely. When I’m in the car tomorrow morning I’ll check what gears are on there. I’m sure they’re listed and I just don’t have to click OK.

So it looks like it goes up in increments of one just like the tire height. So I could make it go all the way up to 4.88

It started at 3.55 so I’m assuming the car will know what it’s doing. Hopefully it works if you try it.

Thank you for checking on that for me. I‘ll keep it in mind as I look into making a swap.

Confirmed today this actually works. Changed the ratio from 331 to 373 as per instructions and it fixed the drivability issues I have had for months.

What drivability issues did you have?

Sluggish acceleration. It was like a had the mykey enabled but it wasn't. I'd put my foot on the gas but it didn't respond. Then it would kick in after removing and applying the pedal in some cases and in others not.
