Thanks I’ll definitely give it all a try! If push comes to shove I’ll just have to buy a RTD. Also been told to check prongs on back of ngauge. Which I’ll do also

Ok. Hopefully it was just a small oversight. Keep us posted.
So i tried disconnecting the batter and still the same result. Not sure what else to do other than buy an RTD. I’m confident it’s not an issue with my car cause we plugged it into another 5.0 and it still said the same thing.

There was an older thread on here where another M6G member had issues with the nGauge not connecting or linking.

He found that the cable on the back was the issue. Have you tried the "wiggle" test with that harness to make sure the issue isn't with the harness? IIRC, the other M6G member had to fix a broken wire in the connector.

Also check all connections from the nGauge back to any other junction you had to make.

If you bought it new, can't you contact the Seller and request a replacement?
