First question, When I switch to Sport+ for louder exhaust, then back to Normal, the exhaust doesn't go back to the previous setting I had it on of Quiet. I have to wade through that ridiculous maze of a menu to switch it back to Quiet. (btw, I have Option Pkg 400A) Why?
2nd question, Can I set my "touch to lock door" to beep the horn like it does when I use the fob?

Every time you choose one of the pre-defined drive modes, all the drive mode-dependent settings, including the AE, will be set to the default value for that particular drive mode. It won't remember which overrides you may have done the last time you happened to be in that drive mode.

You can use MyMode to store a set of custom settings, including a quiet exhaust. While you're in Normal mode with the exhaust in Quiet, save this as MyMode. Then next time you're in Sport+ and want to go back to normal, do not switch to Normal, but to MyMode instead.

No, the touch to door lock won't honk. When you touch to lock, you should clearly hear the doors lock themselves and the taillights/headlight turn signals should flash quickly to let you know the car responded. I do not believe the car can be set to honk this way. Only if you click the lock button twice on the key fob.

I would love this feature, because in a noisy environment it's difficult to hear the door locks click. I often find myself looking through the window to check if the red light has come on. Or touching the door handle again, because the double lock feature will flash the turn signals, which I can see on the mirror.
But as far as I know it's not possible. This was one of my first questions after getting the car, and the answer was no. :frown:

Mine, being a Euro, doesn't even honk when I use the key fob to lock the doors. There's no audible indication ever.

Thanks, I will try to program My Mode!

Thanks, but you can't hear it if it's noisy outside, and you can't see the lights flash from the driver door in daylight.

Hmmm. I have the analog styled gauge cluster and I am pretty sure that when I use the touch to lock the turn signal indicators quickly flash as well, then the dome lights go out. Not sure about the digital gauge cluster though. Might be something you would want to check. Probably won't notice the dome lights but a flash in the gauge cluster might be something you will want to look for.

The 400A Option Pkg has the analog dash, which I also have. I have pretty dark tint on the windows, so not sure if I could see it.

Install some hood turn signals like the ones that came from the factory in 2016. They light up when locking and unlocking the doors - that you would easily see even in daylight! Check American Muscle or CJPony for them. Plus they are cool as hell. 😎

I would kill for some of those, but I haven't seen any for 2018+. :frown:
I think they're beyond cool. :inlove:

American Muscle blocks access to their web page to non-US residents (or at least to EU residents). I can't open it.
Do you happen to know of another place that sells them? If not, I will try to install a VPN tomorrow on my other computer.

It's easier to change the exhaust setting (as I recall, but that's worsening) by pressing the pony button on the steering wheel, and then going straight to exhaust settings.
