Maybe this is a silly question, but I’m going to look at wheels that were on a 2006 mustang. I have a 2019. They are both 18” wheels. Same lug pattern. What would cause them to not fit? Don’t want to waste my money if they won’t fit anyways. Attached image of what I’m looking at. TIA

If you have a PP and thus 15 inch brembos up front, it’s unlikely they will fit. Very few 18 inch wheels outside of Apex that clear those. The bolt pattern/spacing of 114.3 mm is the same on s197 and s550, so while they fit it also depends on barrel clearance.

The short answer is backspacing. Without the specs on the wheel, you won't know until you try. But if the backspacing is to high, you could be rubbing on the suspension.

As long as your car is not a performance pack they’ll fit just fine
