Last addition, to my earlier post, while I feel it's good to enjoy the Mustang 5.0 Coyote as it was designed, going fast, legally. It's okay for anyone to enjoy their car, Mustang as they like to. Show car only, slow weekend cruiser, crazy ass track rat, however you like it that is always okay be me. Said before I just really like the heritage of the Mustang and how it's been honored in various generations, warts and all, ok? (exception the Mustang II, ugh!).

Joe: This center cap is NOT fully engaged. Note the gap at 1 o'clock. I'd hate to see you lose one. These are at least $25 each!! Check all of them just in case!

Thank you, you saved my butt. I tried to push it in with my finger and it wouldn’t budge. I had to use a wooden dowel and a hammer! The other three were good. I can’t believe how tight they are. Thanks again.

Compprep I have to ask you a question, l know you are running a different size wheel and tire than me. I wanted to know if your rear tire has any poke at all. My sidewall does a little.

Do you mean the very edge of tire where it meets the wheel? On the PS4S that's on purpose as a "Rim Protector". If you mean poke of the tire outside of the cars sheet metal where road debris would be kicked up more, that's more so controlled by the wheel offset. So, my 275/40-19 PS4S

on 10" +42 w/5mm spacer rim up front, is right at the edge of car. No "poke".

Ok , my fronts are 255-40-19 PS4S on 19 x 9 35mm offset CF5s they are well within the sheet metal they would be perfect with a 5mm spacer
The rears are 275-40-19 PS4S on 19 x 9.5 29mm offset CF5s the rim is even with the sheet metal the top of the tire is under the wheel well just some of the side protruds . I guess this is a characteristic of the PS4S

I just measured with a yard stick, I have about an 1/8” between the stick and the top of the fender well. The front’s definitely need the 5mm spacers

Congrats on the new wheels. I agree on all your points. The PP wheels are impossible to keep clean and the murdered out black wheel look is way over played. I went with gunmetal on my new set and am very pleased. They are 20's so a lot easier to clean for sure.

How was your alignment after changing rim and tire size? Did you need an alignment after install?
