Hey guys! Very happy to be part of the 5.0 club. Just got a magnetic 2020 GT with PP1 and i am in love with this car!!
I definitely would like to invest in a nice set of wheels and im currently looking at a set from Variant Wheels. Im just unsure on the fitment since i am planning on lowering the car just 1 inch. Wheels im lookin at have offsets of +35 for the front and +50 in the rear. For tires i was thinking 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear wrapped in Continental Extremecontact sport. Anyone rocking a similar setup? Anyone buy wheel and tires from Fitment Industries?
Thanks!

Those are the standard offsets for 20" wheels on these cars. Many of us run those exact size tires front and rear and are lowered.

Which model Variant wheels are you buying? Are they lightweight. Some of their wheels appear similar to the Velgen Wheels.

I have the same offsets for the front and the rears. 20x10 F 20x11 R.
I run 285/30/20 up front and 305/30/20 rears. I’m lowered on Steeda Progressives. Also I went with the Continental Extremecontact sports for my tires. No issues at all since running this set up. I have the P51 wheels.

Can I ask why you are choosing this staggered set up? For looks or performance?

I think the other thousands that have the same setup have answered the question before.

Im looking at the variant krypton wheels!

Looking at the staggered set up mostly for looks. Im not gonna be tracking the car, mostly just spirited street driving with some occasional pulls for fun

Those are very nice and very similar to the Velgen and P51 wheels. I don't believe the Kyptons are lightweight though, plus they are about $100 more than both the Velgen and th3 P51s. I do still like them.

That fitment is standard and works great and the tire sizes are fine and work well also.

We carry Variant wheels ourselves if you need help let us know. We assist a lot of members here on the forum and offer special offers for members.

I have those EXACT tires with 2K miles on them for sale if you are interested. I shifted to all seasons. If you are willing to set up and pay for the shipping I can make you a good deal on them.
