Alright guys I've been creeping on the page a while now decided to join and ask some questions.

my wife drives a 2012 gt base and I love it have a ball driving it. I've sat in the 15 premium gt and it blows her car out of the water interior wise but I've yet to test drive as I won't be buying until spring (left over or trade in). For previous model 5.0 owner what are the pros and cons in your minds on the new car.

I sold my 2012 GT premium Brembo package for a 2015 GT premium Performance package. To me, the cars are night and day different. The 12 was more raw and rough around the edges. The 15 is so much more refined, but still has the raw Mustang feel and image. You will get more features and power with the 15, along with vastly improved handling. The styling is subjective, with the 12 obviously more retro (not good or bad .. depends on what you like). If you can afford it, I say go for it.

Suspension and the upgraded chassis is the key upgrades. Night and day difference.

A couple of days ago, I decided to drive a GT PP Stang for the first time since I bought my '10 GT Track Pack back in late January. The only CON I can tell you is the exhaust and engine sound. They are really quiet compared to my GT. Other than that, the S550 is superior in every way. I go very often to Tijuana where the streets I circulate are similar to the uphills of San Francisco. The truth is, the live-axle is starting to annoy me a little bit. The bouncing on these type of streets is tiresome. When I tested the '15 in San Diego, I took the same route as I did with my GT in a street with imperfections. The difference is very noticeable. My GT's rear end moves sideways a bit depending on the speed going through an imperfection. The S550 felt very controlled and more civilized in slow moving traffic. Style wise, I love my '10 retro style. Looks more masculine and robust than the S550. The '15, I just can't stand that it looks a little too much like the Fusion (love the Euro style of the Fusion, just not that much in a Stang), but the fastback shape, the lower and wider stance of the '15 blows me away as well as the interior. I'm debating whether to keep or trade my GT when I pull the trigger on the S550. Either way, it won't happen until sometime after the Super Bowl.

The only cons on the new GT vs the old GT is the turning radius is worse & it feels more nose heavy but overall it's a whole new league of driving pleasure.

Coming from the last gen myself, the S550 pretty much outclasses the last gen in almost every way.

I went from '06 GT Prem 5MT vert to a '15 EB Prem 6MP fastback, and the new one is better in every way but sound. The EB is far too quiet. But the Saddle leather seats are superb.

Have had these to compare
88 gt vert
06 gt coupe
03 cobra
03 Mach
12 gt stick
13 gt cs auto
14 gt track pack with recaros
And now the 15 gt s550 auto 355
All of them where Great cars the cobra was a monster and would scare the heck outa satan if he rode with me! That car outa all of them was a wild beast.
That said I prefer the 15 in just about all ways ie handling , interior , irs ,looks and ease of use meaning I don't feel like I need to where a kidney belt when driving normally (all my cars have been moded ie lowered tunes yada yada) and my 15 is also moded.
Really drive what ya like and makes you happy but don't go test drive one of these as you won't go back to previous gens.
Ps if ya wana or have some spare time you can see all of my stangs on Instagram
Www.instagram.com/drtoronto
The only car I havnt had or can compare with is a Shelby but that cobra was raw and scary at the same time
