I know through Forscan one can change the opening screen from the Pony to Ford and other openings, does anyone been successful in using their own opening screen?

Many have tried, none have succeeded. You are limited to the screens provided by Ford. You can also change the blue color scheme to Lincoln gray. But that’s it.

Dumb question here. I have a 15 gt with Sync 2 I believe. It says I have a update. Should I do this or no? About to download it to my flash drive now.

Nothing dumb about it. I didn't know they were still doing Sync 2 updates. What is your current build #. What is the build # for the update. I would consider being cautious on this one. Might be best to leave it as is unless you can confirm it's needed (Call Ford)

Honestly have 0 idea what the current build is. I bought the car last march used. Here is the update version that says is available.

USB update didn't work. I connected it to my wifi and hope it completes the download soon.

SYNC2 - V3.10

3.10 is the latest. Came out in 2018. Nothing after that so you are good to go. You might want to consider swapping to Sync 3 if you like the tech.

Another data heavy download. Started it 1/2 hr ago in my driveway. We shall see how long this takes. If it is mostly map POI and speed limit updates, I am wasting my time. I do not have factory nav.
