Tel me more about that hood. I see you’ve had it for a while now. Still happy with it?
Hello. Yes, I've had it for a while now. It is from Anderson Composites. It is a two-sided carbon fiber hood. Everything is functional. The scoop is ducted and channels cool air into the air box. I like the hood. In full disclosure, the car is stored in a temperature controlled environment, not left outside in the sun and rain.

Did you need to clear coat it before installing? Are you running the heat shield on the underside? I’m hearing conflicting stories about both being necessary. The hood looks amazing BTW.

Thanks 🙏. No, it came gloss clear coat, we did nothing to it. No heat shield.

Which Hawk pads did you go for?

I've been using the DTC-60 for the last month, great performance pad, but squeals and dusty on the road.

Swapped last week to the HPS 5.0 and they're a lovely road pad, progressive, strong when needed, and no dust.

Gonna just use the DTC-60 on track (when I finally do another track day).

When I next need rotors/discs I'm torn between the PFC two-piece and the DBA. Heard great things about both, but that the PFC are slightly better at temp management (at a price though).

They are Hawk ceramics, but not sure of part number. No squealing so far. Aren't DTCs for track applications ? I don't track so DBAs probably fine for me.
