Hey guys so looking for some input, I have a 2020 gt and it has 19" with 255 all around which seems to be a bit small. Looking for some feedback on possibly keeping the black 19" size but going to 275 front and 305 rear? Anyone do this or have any photos of it? Also any other sizes that you have done? Input greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Depends on the wheels you have now---are they 19x8.5", like the optional Black Appearance Package wheels? If so, that's basically too narrow a wheel for 275 tires. I mean you might get them mounted, but the sidewalls would bulge out too much and flex too much, diminishing both handling and safety.

For a 275, you need at least a 9" wide wheel. For 305 you probably need at least a 10.5" wide wheel.

I went to LMR.com and got a wheel and tire package. 275 front and 305 rear. Made a world of difference, and they put the packages together that fit properly and look awesome... Only problem with most of their packages, they pair them with the Nitto 555 G2 tires which SUCK. You can look at the package, buy the wheels separate then buy whatever tire you want locally and have mounted though.. I will definitely do that next time..

skinnyb I think that's the setup I would like to go with, did you need to add any wheel spacers? etc?? did you end up lowering the car? did you notice any larger of a wheel gap in the well?

The wheels LMR.com sells have appropriate offsets that fit well without spacers.

No the LMR setups as said above fit perfect with no need for spacers. I did not lower the car either. I think it looked great..

This was the Velgen VF 5 setup in Gunmetal. They are 20's but you get the idea..

all nice setups and I appreciate the input. Feel like im leaning toward either:
Gloss Black Velgen Classic5 V2 Wheels
or

SVE SP2 Wheel

I'm a fan of the SP2s, squared with the Ohtsu tires. Good price and amazing traction for the price.

Are you still going with the same tired thickness 40? Because anything small with throw off your speedometer and will need to be recalibrated.

currently right now I have a 255/40/19
Found a good deal on a set of rims, 19x9.5 front and 19x10. Im assuming if I got these maybe I would run 285/35/19. Anyone running this setup and if so hows it fill the wheelwell? Anyone have pics of that? Also I have stock suspension. Thanks guys

Did you do the 9.5 and 10 ? Or the 10.5 and 11 rim?

A good site to contrast and compare: https://tiresize.com/comparison/

Be aware that if you go with 305s, in the 35/19 size there isn't much of a selection, BUT the Michelin PSS is a GREAT tire...they are pricey, though.

I recently came to a nice set for sale with tires. Little different than what I was thinking but here goes let me know if it sounds like it will be an issue.
Classic Velgen Classic5 V2 and they are 20x10 with 285/35.
I was told they don't need spacers or anything. Sound legit?
