I'm at almost 10k fun miles, and I'll be in the need of some new rear tires in the near future. I've got a few options I'm looking at, but also open to recommendations from you guys. I have stock PP rims, and don't want to go wider than a 285 on them. Here are a few I'm looking at:

Sumitomo HTR Ziii - 275/40/19 - $160/ea - Had these on my WRX in 265's and loved them, but it was AWD. How would they do on this car with more power and RWD?

Nitto Invo - 285/35/19 - $249/ea - Never had them, but guys here seem to like them. My only concern is the tire being 1" shorter in overall diameter compared to the 275/40, and these 3.73's are already short gears.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo - 275/40/19 - $208/ea

Potenza S04 Pole Position - 275/40/19 - $229/ea

Kumho Ecsta LE Sport - 275/40/19 - $193/ea

Mickey Street Comps - 285/35/19 - $248/ea - Same concerns as Invo

I'd like to stay under $250 a tire...open to your guys opinions and recommendations!

Mickey Thompson
Nitto Invo ( 285/35/19 youll be fine)

Good bang for the buck the Sumitomo HTRZ 3

I loved those HTR's on my WRX, but these Pzeros are already first gear (and part of 2nd) worthless.

I dont like Pirelli to be honest.

The S04, and M/T will hook better trust me The invos hook better then the Pirelli as well.

I figured the invos would, especially with a touch more meat on them. What do you think about the HTR's hooking? Not from a launch, just under hard throttle. $160/ea is hard to beat for what I think is a pretty decent tire...just unsure on this car.

Their good tires for the buck you really cant beat them, I setup a few guys with them and so far theyve stated they enjoy them, On a hard launch they spin a tad but other then that they hold up farily well. As long as you understand that they arent R compound rubber and you know the limits on that I believe youll be good.
