Hey guys, I'm wondering how much bigger/better I can go tire wise on my stock 18" base wheels. The 235/50 P-Zero's are pretty much worn out with 8k on the clock and I'm spinning into third. The car will soon be dropped on Steeda Progressive springs and I'm looking for a more aggressive, meaty set-up that will both look better and function better. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I really want it to have that meaty, aggressive stance especially when people are pulling up behind me. My buddies relentlessly point out that my GT looks like it has chicken legs with the stock 235/50's. Haha

255/45R18 is the widest you can go on an 8" rim. I've been looking into similar...

255/45 isn't as aggressive as I was hoping but it's still more contact patch than the stock 235/50's. Do you think I'll experience any rubbing once the springs are installed?

255/45/18 as stated is the widest because of the width of your rim, anything more is oversized will buldge and really your not utilizing the tire at that point except for a small patch.

Would the 235/50-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport be much of an upgrade over the stock 18inch P-zeros?

Would the 245/50-18 fit?

I actually really like the look of the stock rims but as SD_GT mentioned the tires themselves simply don't provide much traction after a few thousand miles.
