Is there any difference if the BOV is on the cold or hot side if you have your BOV venting to air?

- BOV response is marginally quicker by being closer to the throttle blade when it closes
- there is a great deal of room on the drivers side for larger aftermarket BOV's vs. the passenger side
- the length of vacuum hose needed from the intake manifold reference to the BOV is a few inches when drivers side mounted compared to a few feet when the BOV is located is on passenger side
