Well it took ages but we finally have a new phone number thats should not be brutal to mobile phone callers!

We think its pretty cool too: 03300 570550! So it covers STs and 550 mustangs so its easy to remember.

But dont call now cos I'm off haha!

@Steeda UK

Hi,

I am after one of these :

Is there anything you can do for me with regards to pricing or forum discount etc ?

In comparison, it's currently about £115 on the other side of the pond :

Please let me know :sunglasses:

Have you forgotten what I said about not being able to fit the tow mount with the Steeda front bash bar ?

No, but I have an idea - there will be another post coming up soon ... :like:

I also need to do something for the active cruise control radar mount.

I like the fact that the Steeda bar covers the open chassis legs a bit more than the BMR version and for my sins, I like to keep things the same as much as possible and I am fairly well invested in Steeda (diff mounts, subframe mounts, subframe dowels, subframe braces, front brace, clutch spring, shifter mount, H pipe).

The rear bar will be in my future - maybe a deal could be had for the pair ?

I'm also hoping brand loyalty stands for something :like:

Have a look to see Steeda's equivalent of the BMR CB763.
Hey I like that ! That’s a simple piece to make with some basic dimensions, you might have given me another project … :facepalm: :giggle:

@WD Pro

The front crash bar is for a pure race car / track car only? Its not for use on a road car as it will be illegal. Just wanted to check.....
Hi,

Yes, that’s no problem :like:

I have two identical cars, one I post about here and one that’s dedicated to private road use only, sometimes I get the pictures mixed up … :wink:

If it’s easier, please feel free to resort to pm :like:

At risk of taking this thread really off topic now … :giggle:

I like the look of that piece :

But other than replacing the likely ‘let’s rust for fun’ Ford item (if they fit it to euros ? BMR instructions suggest not all models get it), I can’t really see what it adds ?

Looking at the subframe :

It sits outside of the main mounts and the suspension and steering pick ups i.e. outside of the stressed areas ?

I’m assuming the furthest forward area of the subframe (that it mounts too) only has to support non critical items - rads and cosmetic parts etc ?

If so, is there a benefit to adding that beefed up brace, or am I misunderstanding what’s going on in that area of the subframe ?

There was nothing fitted to mine, it was an addition not a replacement.

We can bring in the K member as well as we do the road race version as well, if you want to go all out race build.

I do like that, but that’s a long long way off for me … lol

Just the front bumper bar at the moment thanks (maybe parried with the rear) - anything you could do on that to close the gap a little to more closely align with the American pricing would be greatly appreciated :sunglasses:
