Yeah I was carful with my wording - I’m in no doubt the M car won’t out handle it, but it’s defo ‘firm’ and not ‘floaty’ like the typical mustang reputation :like:

WD :like:
Yeah maybe floaty is a little harsh as overall its road manners are pretty good after all it's meant to be a GT and arguably an M car is more track focussed.

Mustang GT Manual 2017 - now sold ☹
Likely you will want to swap dampers to Bilstein B6, Koni Active, Steeda ProActive or ProAction and if you can get some Ford PP chassis bracing (proven collision crumpling) will stiffen up chassis a bit.

Keep in mind you model is calibrated as a comfortable daily GT driver along the lines of Porsche 928, older AM, Lexus SC or budget version of modern BMW 8 or MB S coupe.

The beauty of Mustang is the deep aftermarket and knowledge base making it easy to tweak along the way if that's fun for you.
let me just change one part of your statement for you

The beauty (trouble) of Mustang (ownership) is the deep aftermarket and knowledge base making it easy to tweak (spend a frikking fortune buying lots of goodies you may or indeed may not actually need but they sound and / or look good) along the way if that's fun for you. :sunglasses:
