Just reading that a semiconductor shortage is shuttering the Flat Rock Assembly plant for at least a week starting Monday August 12th....so sorry for anyone with a new Mustang on order....the wait just got a little longer.

Flat panels and semi-conductor shortages are affecting anything that needs them. From what I have heard from a few vendors is that it will be like this until at least the end of this year.

The story that I've heard is that the auto manufacturers canceled their semi-conductor orders at the beginning of the pandemic and other companies bought up those slots.

Placed my order 4th Jan 2021 and not getting much response from Ford Australia.
