Hey guys. I did a search to see if anyone tried to swap out a newer MT82 from a 18 into the 2015 to 2017? I have a 2017 PP and plan to drop a whipple in it. We all know our trans and clutch is weak so I am curious about the new dual mass units.

Thanks

When you start adding up all the costs to put in another MT82 is not that much less, especially when you consider the cost and effort if you keep breaking MT82s down the line.

The new unit is marginally stronger/more refined, but nothing earth shattering or noteworthy. If you want holding power with a boosted application you should be looking at the T56/TR6060.
