What really pisses me off is that I did an online chat wthrough the Michelin website and when I asked about these tires (because I was about to buy the PSS for my Audi but would wait for the 4S) I was straight up told that there were NO plans to release this tire in the United States. This was about 1 month ago. I think that's pretty low and will likely shop other brands in the future due to this.
Someone posted about this tire over a month ago, here on the forum. Was saying to wait for it, was coming soon. Also said it would come in R sizes. Hmmm

Yes and that was from online news sources, not Michelin. So I used their online chat to find out when it would actually be for sale (because at that point, I believed it was coming). The actual tire company said there were no plans at this time to release it in the US. I took that as it would probably come eventually but as an indication that it wouldn't be very soon. Now I realize it was a concious lie to ensure depletion of their older stock.

So after just shy of 2,500 miles on my Cup 2 tires on the R, I changed to the 4s this past Saturday. I didn't really want to go down in size so I went up to 325/30/19 for the rears. I will say, over the cup 2 tires, the grip is not as good (of course) but for street driving it's negligible. What was awesome for me, is that you don't feel like you're going to die when it's raining hard and the tramline compared to the OEM tires is almost non existent. Well worth the money. Also, to whoever said they would come in R sizes, only for the fronts. I couldn't find a 315/30/19 tire anywhere except for the cup 2 tires.

They still haven't made the 315s yet huh?!
Hoping I can run these cup 2s until they come

I have been misunderstood. I meant if that Goodyear Tire would be made in gt350r sizes. But I checked on tirerack and that tire is not even available yet to include the only Tire in 315 is the sport cup 2

I am hearing new 19" sizes are coming August 1st, lets hope 315 is part of that.

I'm sure you'd be fine with a 325 in the rear with the R.

That's promising, thanks for the heads up! I'll likely be switching to the 315 rear (to test it out) if they make that size. I'm currently running PS4S 305/30/19 and 325/30/19 and the setup feels good but so far I prefer a square setup the best

Stay away from Goodyear, not as good as Michelin. My Supercar 2 I had on my gt500 were utter rubish, unless it was 90 degrees outside or/and I warmed them up with a burnout. As soon as they wore out (not hard to do with 700HP), I swapped to Michelin PSS, what a joy. I was no longer driving looking through the passenger window.
